General Meeting

Hawk’s Nest Homeowner’s Association

July 28, 2008

7:30 pm Dublin Justice Center

Meeting was called to order.

President’s report included the social committee update of Summer Happy Hours and the planning for a Tailgate party in the fall to take place of the Labor Day party on October 4. 

At this point it was decided not to print another copy of the neighborhood directory because the current one is less than 1 year old.

The holiday party will be the first Sunday in December, and the treasurer will send a deposit to the rec center to hold the room for Hawk’s Nest.

The Treasurer’s report included the dues update and report, the liens process for 2008 and the liens recouped in 2008.   We also had a homeowner offer to provide pro bono service for our yearly income tax return starting with the 2008 tax return.  This will save the homeowner’s association about 600 dollars per year.

Landscape Report included update on letters sent to homeowners who needed to clean up landscape items and action had been taken.  Mailbox staining was discussed. Landscape chairman is going to take note of mailboxes that need stained or replaced.

There was no new business.
